A Collection of Strains of a Hemolytic Virus with a numerous affects on the hemoglobin of Mammalian species,

As the name suggest, this is the third naturally derived collection of strains mutated from a proto-virus created in a bygone era of folly and experimentation.

The Ory'ka were the ones to create the first iteration of the phage during a long forgotten world war. The reason for which it was fought, who won and whether the virus worked as intended, is essentially irrelevant. in the end a population of 4 billion was reduced to 300 million over the span of a year.

Diasporized Ory'ka are unknowing carriers for the phage. Unbeknownst to their governments, all Ory'ka already had been infected with the proto-phage before the Organization. (of) Interspecial. Comradery. or O.I.C was founded and the diaspora was the catalyst for a protracted extension of the infection.

Due to this, Mammalian species crossing paths with the diaspora were either decimated or scared away from the more populated sectors entirely.
