Arch-Kapok

The Arch-Kapok, much like regular Kapok trees within earths rainforests, are very large.

Soaring swiftly into the sky, the Arch-Kapok towers to the very edge of Pel'te'une's humid region, peaking into the harsh and ever wearing sunlight of the eternal star.

Due to their unique position, the Arch-Kapok evolved to not only absorb the stars harsh rays, but re-emit them to allow even the darkest portions of Pel'te'une's forest to bask in their glow. In a strange symbiotic cycle, the Arch-Kapoks actually provide necessary heat and light to allow their less hardy flora to proliferate and root beneath their branches and glowing leaves.

the mechanism of how they regulate their temperature and remit with enough power to help prolong this relationship is a mystery, but none of the Kaj'ne or other local Species are complaining.
