One of The Triumvirate. Penitent Assertion is a pragmatist by their very nature, the A.I, though they needn't assign gender, are drawn to the prospect of individuation by their very nature.

Penitent Assertion unlike their siblings defines their gender through physical sensation in context of material contact. a natural process that eludes them but illicit kin-ship.

When pressed for an explanation Penitent was quoted as stating.
